All the original panel took me about 2 hrs to get off and about an hour to roughly fit the new panel in place. As I said before, it's not perfect or pretty but I'll live with it. I still need to do the holes and weld it in place.

Hi Colin,
Thanks for sharing! It is quite inspirational and gives alot of us some great ideas about how to do things! Can you elaborate on this one some more now? 'It has stretched a bit here and there but I think I can fix that problem.' How did you fix the stretching as it doesnt seem to still be too stretched when we now see it 'fitted up'. Cheers and thanks, Ian.

Hi all, sorry for the lack of pics. Our computer has been off and on for a while and we just found the culprit or I should say culprits. Bloody mice and/or rats in the roof chewing cables so it's time for a serious amount of bait to get rid of them.
Hi luke, I'm clad you like the purpose design dolly hammer. I've taken quite a few pics but I won't bore people with 20 pics from different angles. I'ts all been apart cleaned, repaired, painted and now it's going back together. I hope it will be finished in a week or two. |

My little 8 yo boy Andrew wanted to weld so I thought it was time and boy did he surprise me. This is what he learned in just over a day. He sure is going to be a great help to me. It has been a bit slow in the workshop of late because of the Xmas and new year but I'm getting back into the swing of things again.

On a more serious note, is there a chance you can persuade him to wear leather shoes/boots so hot slag can't land on top of his foot and burn through (plastic) fabric shoes to his foot to ruin his fun. More important for flame cutting, but I've had a few surprises from MIG welding. |

Just a few earlier shots so you know it's not a different truck.
