An Impossible Question.


I need a circuit for a GEC single Phase Altinator 6KVA 0.86 DF 3000 RPM unit, the same as the one which started off this thread here.

I was searching the net and came across this excellent forum, I see someone has posted a link about the mechanical side of things but I need access to the circuit.

I picked up a very old transformer coil, wound with square primary copper wire, the secondary was with flat copper wire, all wrappen in cotton insulation.
I got it from a farmer who said it was with the above gen set, but it was too badly damaged to figure out the interconnections, so a circuit is paramount.

There is another web site posted here, but it's in a language I carn't understand.

I have tried to track back through two previous owners of this gen set but have hit a brick wall. EG I got this info (coil) from a Farmer in Chinchilla (Qld), he got it from a farmer outside of Chinchilla on a property several years ago, that farmer bought it from another farmer 30 years ago outside of Brisbane.
Where he got it from is unknown, but reading the posts, it must have been shipped in from England.

The cotton insulated coil tells me it is from the 1920's vintage.

Can anyone help please?
