According to my Carrier database #6081 lives in WA. Would need to contact owner to ascertain if details are still correct. Am waiting for Rod to confirm.

There are 4 of these beasties over here that I know of, 1 under construction, one nearly complete, a shed filler, and the one shown on this thread.
The transfercase for this carrier has only just been found, quite a rare part. GS has 3 hull numbers on his carrier register. Rod show them the Macci behind the carrier, behind the champ. ![]() |

Wayne, if you are aware of the serial numbers, I would appreciate it if you could forward them to me to update the register of Carriers (all types) I have here at the museum at Bandi.

I am presumming that the gun mount for the 2 pdr is about the same as the one that is in the back of the WC Dodge trucks that have totally disappeared. No one seems to have ever seen that mount in this country. I do not know of a single one even in a museum here!
Would you be so kind as to make numerous photographs of the mount, attachments, and anything attached to it with a tape measure or rurle in the foreground or next to the parts!? All necessary expenses and postage will be paid for a set of pictures of the mount - thanks in advance if you can do it! Dan in NM 505-269-2056 |

I forgot I had these. I took them about a year ago at a farm near Ballidu in Western Australia. I have a lead on the farm's owners but can not seem to get them to return my messages.
This is the remains of a heavily cut down Valentine. Cheers Rod

Lots of ex British army Valentines were brought to Australia in the early 1950s and were used as farm tractors in Western Australia.

Nearby is the remains of this LP2A carrier. That is the AEC engine block from the Valentine in the carrier and it's transmission on the ground beside it.

The hull number is unreadable due to plenty of damage over it's long life.

Beside the Valentine is this much modified Ford Blitz. It is fitted with a Perkins diesel engine and a bogie drive rear end. Front wheel drive has been removed. Note the cab roof design.

nearby is this old farm fuel trailer obviously built up by the cocky himself. That's a 2C1 box in fairly good condition attached to the front of it.
