Did they ever make or plan for a hard top version instead of the canvas top or make any other variants on a 6x6 chassis ?

The prototype C60X with the Chrysler 8-cylinder engine had a # 13 Cab hard top. There was also probably at least one Ford 6-wheeler with the Lincoln Zephyr V-12, but that would have been a F60H. Ford did offer a 'F60X' but I am certain that none were ever built as the prototype 'General Motors' C60X was ordered and proceeded-with into production of course with the imported GMC 270.

I think by the time it was built the SWB Canadian gun tractors had been redesigned to canvas roofs following the British lead with the later Morris-Comical - sorry- Commercial types.

I'm currently building a model of the CMP 6x6 FAT and I'm wondering if this is a bulkhead or stiffener. Thanks in advance.

Hi Boys
The 6x6 rear seat seems to be folding like 4x4 FGT Why are they folding? Add cargo space? ![]()

Being that the 6x6 was an experimental version it could just be they used off the shelf items to fit out the truck.
