Post Good photo

Good photo, graphically displaying the optical superiority of the #12 cab design.
No need to mention ergonomics...

Looks like one of WW German symbols . As used on German Naval Ensin. But may have many other meanings as well as it was also used

What I found of interest was that the vent covering was screen and round as used on Chevys while the grill looks to be the woven wire grill as used on Fords. Another case of mix and match parts. Any thoughs.

Default Markings on air vents

Hi Guys:

My bet would be- teenager with black felt marker pen who got interrupted before he could complete the iron cross on the other side. I seriously doubt they are military markings.

Cheers! Mike

Sorry Andrew, Chev Blitz trucks don't have a chassis number stamped anywhere to the best of my knowledge.
Cheers

Default Cab 13 Chevs

Australian built Chev cab 13s have the chassis number stamped on the vertical face of the left chassis rail usually between the spring hangars.

Here's an example stamped above a hangar:

Default Looks good

Any data plate, chassis number, ARN?

Looks like it has a winch, but those wheels point to an ex-tipper.

Many of our ex- mid wheelbase Chevs were tippers, CGT No6 or ambulances.
