Carrier/Pzkpfw II

Wayne H has asked me to post these three pics of an original Carrier LP2A, which has been significantly modified by a WA group, to depict a Panzerkampfwagen II (Panzer Mk 2). Albert Speer would be rightly proud of this one !

I'm told that the extra sheet metal is 6mm thick and that it has a large offset V8 coupled to an automatic gearbox.

The original carrier hull has been lengthened by around 4 feet and when the vehicle is completed it will have a gas operated 20mm cannon mounted. Weight will be around the 4-5 ton mark.

It has hydraulic steering and an electrically traversed turret.

Interesting and an unbelievable amount of work.
