Very interesting information.

Charlie, here is a photo of the L and R ...err I mean the R and L. As you mention they are backwards.

As well a few more photos, this time with the refinished Autoloader in place. I have to admit, the design is quite amazing once you understand how it all works together.

Plus...what I thought was a canvas cover for the Autoloader, turns out to be a cover for the ammunition ready rack. I guess a nice surprize, but now I need to find an auto loader cover!

Default Gunner still alive... not eaten by lions, yet!

Hi Guys:

Getting reliable internet access is a bitch here and I keep getting dropped in the middle of my long and verbose responses!

I'll type up a detailed response in word or summat and cut and paste it into this fine forum.

Brad: Package is enroute (I'm told), could you look after Bob until I can mail a cheque from a Canadian post box... mail here looks like its passed under the Atlantic in a drunk Mexican's underpants

We are remarking our Bofors to 32 LAA Bty as we want to have all the guns along the St Lawrence (Kingston, Brockville, Morrisburg, Iroquois, Finch and, of course, Kars to all be from the same unit. We overhauled Iroquois gun for them thsi summer and will do the same in each town as a summer project over the next couple of years.

At the risk of losing all this I'll add that there are many thruths in all the stuff above but there are some oopses as well. Best end now!

Mike
