Thanks for the reply. Interestingly the last three posts on the F15 thread were about the directionality of tyres

Winter and no sparks in the shed is not a fun thing at all.

G'day folks,

Fascinating thread, this. As I've mentioned, I'm in the same boat, having 18" tyres on my Inter. I followed the recent eBay auction of seven tyres with an opening bid of $1500, but it was too rich for my blood, sadly.

I've wondered if a swap for civillian wheels would work, but don't have the knowledge of what's what.

Tony, I'll continue to follow your posts with interest, from Junee!
