Default Looking for Service History on a 1951 M38

I am trying to trace the military history of this early Canadian Military 1951 M38 jeep.

It was delivered to Canada in October 1951, it is believed a small number were sent to Germany, maybe to the Hanover or Soest area.

A rebuilt plate on the frame indicates it was rebuilt at 23BW (base workshop) Wetter Germany, December 1959.

If someone has any information, or in service pictures from 1951 to 1960s or later showing CAR number stencilled on the body and showing unit markings, I would like to finish the restoration with the correct Canadian Military Markings.

Serial Number is 37378 , CAR Number is 51-33407.

Please contact me (Harry) through email , hppike@nl.rogers.com
