Default Pre-war DND abbreviations?

Am I correct in deciphering the following please?

DMT & SD (‘Director of Mechanical Transport and Signals Development?’), DS & T (‘Director of Signals & Telegraphs’?), DES (‘Director of Engineering Services’?) and D of S (‘Director of Supplies’?),

Default Hi There

Hi David,

Remember me? glad you are still here, so thought I would drop you a line and tell you that I know the Regiment that my Dad was in, in WW2. It was the Carelton&York Reg., are they at all familier to you?.

I now am trying to to find where exactly my Dad was...I do know he served in Italy and North Africa...sadly that`s it, nothing more specific !.

Just to add, hasnt the weather been fantastic? seeing as we both live in the same county of Hampshire, we get the same weather <<< and it has been time to wear sunglasses makes a change eh?

David.
