Default 1952 Infantry pick

Have this broad arrow marked 1952 Infantry British Pick.

Marked W Gilpin (same as WW2 d handle shovels).

On the small size it is very solid.

See att'd photos

Offers or trades.

Peter, the head is smaller than the typical 'army' pic, but is the handle full size? If so, I'd like to talk...

The handle (helve?) for the pick is 30" long.

That seems like full size.

Default Pick

Hi Peter/Bruce:

Did you talk? If the pick is still available, I'm interested but i don't want to cut Bruce's grass!

Cheers! Mike

Bruce was interested in the helve for his carrier. This is a short Infantry pick.

The helve is only 30".

If you want it PM me and we will talk. Bruce will see this so I will let him read it and let me know.

Default Pickin' good friends!

Thanks, Bruce!

Hi Peter, I too was looking for one to fit the brackets; in this case on my Ferret which takes a 35 to 36" helve. Nonetheless, its an interesting piece which will go nicely with the Italian campaign FOO display we are working on.

Any likelyhood we can coincide in time and space in the next few months? For once I'm relatively homebound and only deploy to Africa for a month in March/Apr.

Would an offer of $50 be out of line?

Cheers! Mike

For those of you that are looking for the original style of handle to use on vehicles, check out item # 566h36 on page 35 in the following link: http://www.humbermerchants.co.uk/dow...0catalogue.pdf

Apologies to Peter for meandering his thread away from his original product, as so often happens on the MLU site.
