Rob - More pictures and info please
Hi Rob
Don't remember seeing pictures of your great C60L on MLU, have I just missed them? Few questions, what year, is the body original to the truck? Is the body the Australian drop side? The reason I ask is the body is what I have tried to replicate on my C60L Pattern 12. The truck looks great! PS(Correction found your earlier pictures but without the sides and canvas installed I'll go back and look at the details) Cheers Phil

Hi Phil,
1943 is the year painted under the bonnet, all of the data plates say c60l winch truck with a GS body. I assume it is orginal, it was a bush fire truck when I brought it. Luckily they kept the sides and rear tailgate, the sides had been cut in half so we had to weld them together. The floor had holes cut in to it for hoses and bolting down the tank and pumps and the wheel boxes removed to make the tray flat. I haven't bothered to fix that as the rear wheels don't seem to rub on the tray, even when going off-road.I have included some photos of the truck when we got it home. Rob

Thanks for the additional pictures
Hi Rob-
Thanks for the pictures they show some of the details that I was curious about. In particular the tail gate latch. Are there chains that prevent the sides from dropping all the way? Cheers Phil
