Default Looking for a couple of brackets

Hi all

Im looking for a couple of brackets used on WW2 Cnd wireless vehicles. They were used to secure the 20' or 34' radio mast to the side of the body in a verticle position.

Here is a picture of the mounts Im looking for. They seem to be common on the Wireless trucks and on the HUW trucks.

Even if you have a set but they arn't for sale Id be interested in dimensions.

Hi Jordan,

Im looking for the same mounts also, to complete my HUW, but Im not optimistitic to find original ones. Im very sure that I will have to reproduce them at the end!

But, if a fellow MLUer have them and willing to part of them, are very welcome, with a priority to you!

Here are a set of photos from a Dutch HUW which Alen Tooes gave me.

Hello Jordon
Here are some scans from the 34' Aerial Manual Cdn.
Hope they help, includes a description with measurements and paint colour.

Does anyone know the thickness of the upper mast cleat? The above mentioned attachments have all the other dimensions other then the gauge of steel used.

Hi there!

There was a guy in Italy that delt with W/S 19 parts. I know he did have those bits you require. I will try and track down his contact details and post them up here.

The timber ferrel is only required if you use the British type "D" antenna rods as apposed the Canadian 20' & 34' masts.

Phil...
