Default Omva updates

Hello Folks

Happy New Year

We had our elections for President and Frank Von Rosensteil has been proclaimed President as those others nominated declined the position.

Past past President Peter Simundson is filling in for the Vice President postion vacated by Frank and immediate Past President Syd Schatzker is now the Treasurer. We thank Chris for his many years of being the Treasurer and wish him good luck with his new addition to the family.

We are looking for nominations for the position of Vice President. Paid up OMVA members should sent their responces to Colleen Von Rosensteil, the Membership Coordinator before the end of the month.(January).

Don't forget the upcoming winter show in Milton 7 February 2009.

The latest issue of CMP #49 should have been received by everybody around Christmas. If you have not received it yet check with Colleen to see if you are paid up.

Anybody wishing to receive the OMVA's MVPA Award winning CMP Magazine can do so by checking out the OMVA web page at omva.ca and mailing in $25.00 Canadian to the membership coordinator($30.00 CDN for those outside Canada).
With your membership you receive 4 issues of CMP, free admission to the OMVA events and liability insurance at the three Official OMVA events.

The summer show will be held at the Oshawa Military Museum again and rumour has it that the Fall Show may be held in Ottawa. stay tuned.

The OMVA is Canada's largest Military Vehicle Club with aprox 250 members. With members from across Canada, the USA and even Europe.

Thanks again Geoff for hosting our forum.

Thanks

Eric

I thought the winter show was in Acton? Has it changed?

Default Winter Show

Hello

No the winter show has not changed locations. You are correct in that it is in Acton (I think it is the Milton exit from the 401). See the post on the winter show by Peter Simundson for more details.

Is there anybody going down from Ottawa?

Thanks
Eric
