Question Bedford Armoured Truck

Does anyone recognise this Bedford Armoured Vehicle? L 4332619 is in a batch to Contract V.4070 for "Lorry 30 cwt 4 x 2 A/Tk", so is it a rebuild on an OX chassis?

Default Bedford OXA

David,
The OX vehicles were specially built for their role. Vauxhall had two contracts with a total of 950. The chassis was an OXA, Chassis and Platform for Armoured Car.
Take a look at Bart's book, "Bedford and Vauxhall Military Vehicles", for more details.

Richard

Thanks Mr F! Seems that the OXD was the Truck variant...serial numbers ran OX 1001 in 1940 to 25429 in 1945 for all OX models.
