Thanks Steve.
I have the basic drawing and am getting it laser cut after that mostly a folding job. Will let you know re photos but a friend recently acquired one that I have access to . Are yours Aluminium or steel. The ones I once owned but were swiped were steel , My Friends is Aluminium. Also my friend has a rather complicated pressing to hold the glass in, my originals steel ones never did. I am wondering whether my original set was locally fabricated during the war. |

Compass Brackets
Gina,
My original compass bracket was brass. I have also seen aluminum brackets. I had them made out of aluminum. My windshields frames are steel. I have seen a couple other windshield frames that were steel as well. Steve |
