Question royal signals/clarence blackely

I want to know more about the royal signals in Nijmegen (may/june 1945) and Utrecht (sept/oct) in Holland 1945. Especially about a man called: Clarence Blackely from Toronto.
He was a signalman, but I don't know what he did. Can somebody help me to find him or his relatives/friends/vets. Or can somebody give me more information about the signals. Is it possible that a signalman was also a driver on medical vehicles? I hope somebody can tell me some more.

I know that in the RCE there were driver/operators. These were of course, radiomen. Often there were several per vehicles allowing for `breaks'. I assume that this was standard throughout the Cdn. Army.
