Default 2" Mortar Holdall Contents

Folks, I am looking to fill the Holdall for a 2" mortar.
Please drop me line if you anything spare for sale or trade.
I have the Holdall, just no contents.

Thanks,
Harris

Check www.gunbroker.com for the mortar firing pin and spring. A seller regularly has them listed but typically they are single day listings for some reason. I picked up a couple as spares for my live 2-inch and they work properly.

The oil tin can come in several variations but it is the same as carried with the Bren wallet and spare barrel case. Probably eBay would be your cheapest source as they are fairly common.

The folding brush and staff will be a bit harder to find. And it (and that holdall) are for the short barrel mortar usually associated with the airborne. If you have the standard infantry or carrier pattern mortar, you might as well look for the fixed shaft pattern brush and it and the other goodies then go inside the mortar wooden transit chest. The spares would live in a small tin that also fits nicely in the chest.

Have two spare wartime chests but shipping to Canada wouldn't be cost effective compared to sourcing something up there. The short mortar also goes in a chest with the holdall when being transported but the inside fittings are different.
