This year's recipient of the Bart Vanderveen award is John Belfield, of Melbourne Tank Museum fame, for his lifetimes work on gathering in military vehicles and saving them for posterity. John was presented with the award at the War & Peace Show at Beltring, by Winston Ramsey's wife Gail, a fellow Victorian.
Well done John ![]() http://www.afterthebattle.com/vanderveen/2012.html

The President and members of Khaki Vehicle Enthusiasts Inc congratulate John on this most prestigious award.
John has and continues to collect and restore an amazing array of both soft skin and armoured vehicles. His assistance to many in the movement has to be applauded. Well done John, and well deserved. Rick Cove - President KVE Inc.
