Default Vickers MG Info.....

Gentlemen: Just sorting and finalising a gun collection for disposal. This is one of the units I'm keeping for myself. I'm told that this particular unit was manufactured during WW1 and by the looks of it served time in WW1 and possibly/probably WW11. The gun came from the UK about 10 years ago The writing on the side of the transit box intrigues me, but it's all "greek" to me. Anyone out there shed any light on the writing.
Thanks ahead of time.....Robert

PS: The gun WAS NOT put out for recycling! R
