Default M135 inner windshield frame repair

Hello Gentlemen
Starting this thread to see if there is any insight on what to do about the M135 inner windshield frames. We all know they are notorious for rot. Anyone with knowledge and experience in repairing or replacing these units would be a great help.

I was told that the MLVW frames are the same. The bits of the MLs are in a scrapyard in Ontario, so...

I was refering to the company who has the contract for the disposal of the MLVWs . They are not coming out as complete units. One of our Eastern members like Gilles could point you in the right direction.

The M135 and MLVW (M35) have different windshields. The cab of the M135 is wider and the windshields are more stout, so the MLVW ones will not fit. You can see it pretty clearly in the pictures below.

Finding a good M135 windshield is like pulling hens teeth. We bought some NOS frames from Brian Asbury many years ago. But he said they were his last ones.

You could modify MLVW/M35 windshields to use in the M135, but it would be a lot of work as you would have to cut up two windshields to make one.
