UK Vintage plates
I don't know anything about UK regulations regarding acquiring vintage plates from an expired vehicle registration and getting them put on a later registered vehicle, but I thought these 1940 Motorcycle numbers might tickle the fancy for a Carrier owner:

I did a quick check on the DVLA website which shows ' Number cannot be found' for BGC1 so that number is not on any currently registered vehicle. Would take more enquiries to see if one could buy that number but anything with a '1' like this would be very expensive!!

A "cherished" registration number like BGC 1 could be worth untold £1000's. I was lucky enough to procure this one for my hobby van, direct from DVLA for £200 which included the transfer fee. Ron
