Default Canadian Dispatch rider motorcycles

Hello everyone. For health reasons I'm going to sell off my collection of motorcycles that were used by the Canadian Army as dispatch bikes since WW2. I still don't know how to post pictures on this site but as per the rules my name and email address will be posted below if you want to see the prices and pictures I will send them to you. Just a quick rundown. BSA M20, Norton 16H, 42 Harley WLC, 43 Harley WLC, (3) TRW Triumphs, CanAm 250, Armstrong MT500, NOTE: Don't expect cheap prices as I have given myself 4 years to sell off the collection.Everything is located in Vancouver BC

As I have over 20 years of time and effort into this collection I will give special attention to anyone wanting a package deal so as to keep it together.

I will over time be posting more of my collection of military items that I will be selling off. Including things like my Diamond T Wrecker and M3 Halftrack. Stay tuned for more posting.

If this posting doesn't meet MLU rules please contact me and I'll delete it or change it.

Thank you

Dan Jahn email: dt969b@gmail.com

Hello Dan,

Sorry to hear you have to sell your collection. I am sure posting pictures will help selling them - please see the thread "posting images" for instructions on how to do this.

HTH,
Hanno

Interested in the Halftrack...is it the one you loaned us for our wedding? If so, I might be able to convince the wife to let me buy it for sentimental reasons...

Default Any prices on the halftrack and wrecker?

Just curious that nobody else has asked for prices on those two items.

Default Halftrack and Wrecker

The motorcycles were my priority for now.

But I can answer your question in this way.

The Diamond T wrecker has an interested party at $20,000 US dollars.

The M3 Halftrack is currently on Craigslist and Kiggigi with pictures and asking $60,00 Canadian dollars.

There is also a Dodge M37 and A M151A2 jeep going up for sale.

Please contact me if you would like more information through the forum or direct at dt969b@gmail.com.

Default May 30 2015 update.

All the TRWs and the TRW motor are sold.

42 Harley project bike has a deposit in place

the Armstrong MT500 now has a deposit on it.

That leaves the 43 style Harley WLC still avai.

Default I'm getting on too.

Hey Dan, sorry to hear about your health issues and the dispersal of your collection. I remember with some fondness seeing your collection grow over the years and always enjoyed seeing your latest acquisitions at the HACS shows or elsewhere. I seem to remember you trailered a bunch down to Whidbey Island NAS one year. I would have been interested in the WLC had I not recently bought a Harley Davidson Road King as a 60th birthday gift to myself. I'll be back in Vancouver again next Fall and I'll look you up, If you're interested, and if you think the 45 will make it to Texas I'll ride my HD up there and we'll swap....interested? ;>)

CHIMO!
