Mark MacKenzie posted these pictures (stills taken from the DVD "Britain at War") on the missing-lynx scale modeling forum.

Can anyone identify the House-type truck in the background? Is seems to have door with hinges at the front and a pretty square looking cab. Guy Ant?

Default House-type truck

To me it looks like a Bedford MW with a hard top cab. As far as I know it was a pretty rare variant.

After a close look at the photo i am sure its the Guy with panel cab,i have only seen the radio truck with the panel as the GS versions were all soft top. Why, dont know really but its possible that a number of these civilian cabs were stored in the factory and Guys made useof them and they seem to match the body quite well
cheers
Les

After a second closer look, I think Les is right.

I know it is a colorized video, but it may be just the thing to get this thread back to top:

"Liberation Route East Holland in full-color - April 1945"

I note the music which is used is by Glenn Miller; maybe it has something to do with that?
