Looks like it is a Lorry, 3-Ton, 4 x 4, 158 wb.

This could have been:

Cipher Office,
Command, High Power, (Type H53),
Command, Low Power,
Teleprinter,
TEV Corps,
TEV Div,
Wireless "I",
Wireless "R",

Used variously at Div, Corps, Army, L of C levels.

Information credit to Gregg's Canadian Military Vehicle Series, Vol. 1.

This is the one restored at Kingston Pen? I assume that it runs? Hope that the instrument panel hasnt been ripped out and replaced by a wooden replica as per the last Cab 13 Sigs Wire 5 they had - "radioactive instruments" being the reason then!

Default 3 Ton Sigs Van

Just so you guys know this truck is not new to the Sigs museum , but it has finally come home , It has been parked out in the open in Pet for the last 25 or so years in the museum compound there, I was going to build one of these using the 3 ton I had at the time , the museum truck should still have it's R 107 in the back , and on board gen set , these trucks have Brit built boxes on them of wood frame construction with sheet metal covering, Elliot's had approx. 10 of these beds in their yard back in the day,if anyone has interest in my file for these please send me a pm, as follows is the trucks equipment list :
wireless set No.53
receiver R-107
wireless set No.19
motor generator set (Onan) 3 KVA
3 control boxes and head gear in staff compartment
1 westinghouse rectifier
batteries, aerials and associated wireless gear
these vehicles were used at the HQ level
regards Frank

Default 3 Tom CMP

This is how the vehicle looked when it arrived at CFB Petawawa in 1982. It progressively deteriorated while parked outside at the base museum and I am glad to hear that this vehicle has been rescued and restored.

I don't know if it is running now, but was towed into it's current home. I had the opportunity to look inside. Looks good there too. Hard to believe the generator was right there in the box with the operators. Sure would be noisy. I believe the restoration was done at Joyceville Pen.
