Hi Kuno,

regarding 2 gallon POW cans in 1/35. Armorscale and Ultracast each make terrific POW cans. Resicast will also soon release a set.

This is NOT a flimsy but a more robust Petrol, Oil and Water can (POL).

A flimsy was a thin walled can meant to be used only once or twice.

Default Flimsy

The flimsy was 4 gallon container that was square in plan form. In this country they have always been referred to as kerosine tins. At least in my lifetime. In my fathers youth petrol came in them as well. That was how you purchased it at the store. They were transported two to a wooden case. In later years beekeepers used them for storing, handling or shipping honey.
Interesting fact-4 Imp Gals of water =40lbs, 4 Imp Gals of honey =60lbs.
