Default Richards Industries Adelaide

Advert claiming they have built 100,000 bodies and the advert is dated 1943 ! Looks like a Dodge army vehicle is featured in that ad. . From the late 1930s on Richards was mostly owned by Chrysler Dodge Distributors Australia (CDD) and built bodies for Chrysler cars and trucks, the firewall usually has 'TJR' embossed into the panel. In press releases, CDD made a point of being 100% Australian owned, a veiled slap in the face to their rival , GM-H.
