Default CMP for sale on eBay in Winnipeg

listing found tonight while looking for other stuff
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CMP-1...5630be8a#v4-35
It looks like the seller has other CMP trucks / parts.
Seeing the ad is all I know about this truck.

That was Bill Briercliff's truck. Bill passed away a year or two ago. The truck was a regular in the local parade in the Transcona day parades.

Default Bill Biercliff

Rob,

Didn't he advertise his funeral home on a couple of CMPs on the Ring route around Winnipeg? There was a FAT, a 60cwt with a van or machinery body I think and a 15Cwt....

cheers

Mike

He's the fellow. I think there was a thread on the subject a while back, but Bill was a remarkable fellow. One of his favorite vehicles was a Harley WLC. He bought it civilianised, but bit by bit would paint over the chromed parts with his khaki brush.

It sold for $5600 and the reserve was met. I think I'd have had a tad higher reserve than that! Oh well, somebody got a good deal!

The final bid came in with 6 seconds left and he only used ebay 37 times before. Oh, and everybody can see that 8***7 got it! Hope that helps.

It sold for what somebody was willing to pay for it, pretty simple really.

Default Truck sold

I only just discovered this thread, figured it was Bill's truck, as confirmed by Rob. As short of the ready as I am, if I had seen this sooner, I would have given it some serious thought. Wondering now who the buyer is.
