Default Ram 1 and 2 @ TORCH?

Would Ram equipped units have been ready to commit to the Torch landings, with LEE in HQ for HE support missions.
If not when were Canadian units up to strenght with Ram properly trained of course.

The Canadian Army had no involvement in OperationTORCH.

The question is could Ram armour units have been included? I know they did not see action in NA.

Not that early, due to training/manufacturing/supply issues... they could have done it for Sicily, but by then the decision had been taken to standardize on the Sherman. Just as well, because that saved the Rams for use as Kangaroos in 1944...

ramtank2;

Might I suggest that you purchase these three books:

Tools of the Trade, Equipping The Canadian Army - $29.95
The Ram Development and Variants, Volume 1 - $ 9.95
The Ram Development and Variants, Volume 2 - $ 9.95

which are available from Service Publications, which can be found here

These three publications would answer all of your questions on the use of the RAM by The Canadian Army during the period of the Second World War.

Cheers

Does Tool of the Trade give montly production rates of Ram, when units arrived in England, when armoured regiments were fully equipped?

ramtank2;

Again, all of the information you seek can be found within the three publications I mentioned earlier and also in: Making Tracks - Tank Production in Canada - $24.95, which is also available from Service Publications, located here - click on Catalogue (top left) and when the page opens, click on the heading Service Publications on the left hand side (under Books by Publisher) and scroll down once the page opens.

Cheers
