Looking at it it looks like a type of ground strap but for what part or vehicle I wouldn't know yet...new to this but the braided copper wire tells me grounding...?There I broke the ice...LOL?

Do you think because of the long bolt it could be for an engine mount and that they put the ground together with the mounting bolt...? Just a thought has me wondering now...! LOL

just got a word from a guy, it goes someware on the bottom of a antena porcelon part, then earthed into the vehicle. mike
