Default Ford brake booster

Normandy75 is growing near and at last our F60S is coming into action.
The engine is a pig at this stage but we have not yet timed the distributor. However, on a hunch, we removed the pipe to the brake booster and blocked up the hole in the manifold. Two things happened: the wipers started to work and we were able to get a decent tickover.
From this we have concluded that there is a major air leak in the brake booster so tomorrow's job is to remove it and strip it down.
Does anyone have any advice on this, and are spare parts readily available?
