Default M38A1 CDN 2 and 3 Wiring Diagrams

I worked on these some time ago and had some help and guidance from Rob Love who is the SME on these things. The image is originally from the CDN 3 supplement. If there are any errors please let me know. I was able to print them out on 11x17 sheets and have them plasticized so my grubby paws would not damage the images. I could not place high resolution images on the post so PM me if you want one sent to you.

Default Wiring harnesses

My experience with CDN 2 and 3 harnesses is that they are essentially the same except for variations in local variations in lengths between taping junctions. I have never seen a CDN 2 with the turn signal distribution box but it is useful to know how they are wired in since they are available as a turn-signal add-on kit for older jeeps. .... Brian

The photos are small, but I think I spot an error: The rear tail lights should be 22-460 for the right turn and 22-461 for the left. Your diagram looks like both are 22-461.

Dave, Great work on the diagrams, sure beats the one in the book- could you send me both?

Brian, My parts '67 CDN2 had the old style distribution box and spartan indicator when surplussed- It's off the vehicle but if you ever need to see/ measure anything off of it, give me a shout.

Cheers,
Rick

Default Errors

Rob,

I will look them over tomorrow and make the changes. I will then forward them out to requests them. The downloads are as big as I can upload to the page.

Dave,
I also would like to have a copy of both wiring diagrams, for my 67 CDN2. Thanks Richard
