Done deal and payment sent. Now I just have to figure out a way to get it out here. If anyone is heading West to Manitoba in the next while, please give me a shout.

I will be driving out to Belleville in June to drop off some armour. I can bring that back if you want to wait that long?

Jon
Thanks for the offer. I'll take you up on that and offer some gas money and maybe even a tour of the Shilo vehicle collection if you have time.

Default OK sounds good.

We were bound to meet at some point, not a problem I am coming right through there anyways. What exactly is it? A muzzle brake by the looks of it, but from what?
A tour would be nice.
I will let you know when I have a firm plan.

That's sounds good to me, I am just south of the 401 in Ajax and it is sitting in my garage until it is picked up.

That may be the perfect excuse for me to send a package through to Winnipeg - is that possible?

Default I was thinking this might happen.....

I can take a few parcels as long as they can fit in a pickup truck.

If there are folks with the need to have heavy things moved between Edmonton and Kingston I can take a few items in either direction.

I only ask that you meet me along the route or if possible get them to me ahead of time. Gas money would be appreciated.

For both pickups and drop off, I can arrange my route to hit some places but I don't want to go too far out of my way. Driving is long enough in a straight line.

I stay in Canada on the route, so no cross border loads.

Anyone with needs, PM me and we can make plans.

Jon

I had good and bad experience with dub dub dub uship dot ca to get my M151A2 from Edmonton. The service is a reverse auction for trucking companies to bid on loads. If the muzzle break is too heavy to justify the cost of a regularly scheduled freight company, maybe one of the bottom feeders that troll back and forth the T-Can will take the job? You don't know unless you ask.

I am in no rush, so the next MLU run will suffice.

Does anyone know what artillery piece this muzzle brake is off of?

Thanks Adrian. I looked through what photos I could find of the 6pdr and was not able to spot this particular muzzle brake. But at the time I was looking into all the smaller guns. I'll look again specifically at the 6 pdr for this variation.
