Mr. Hathaway told me he is situated in Evesham, Worcestershire, UK and "it runs, front end very good rear body needs restoration."

No connections with the seller, just thought the forum members would be interested to see this.

Default FGT

Hanno

Our loss is your gain, had I not just bought the 12 cab C30 LAA it would have joined the OCMPC's ranks.

As I told you at the time it was the centre of much sole searching on my part. I hope it has found a good home.

Who did it go to, anyone we know?

Pete

Pete,

It went to a Dutch collector with a love for the odd and quaint, i.e. British vehicles
It will join a stable with Humber Snipe and Humber Armoured Car and the likes, so I guess it is in good hands.

No need to mourn, Holland is just a ferry-hop away
Come over some day to enjoy our liberation celebrations - next year should be big!

Default 12 cab for sale

Yes it has gone to the the full south of Holland , a friend of mine Pierre has bought it , so we have now in the same shed a 13 cab CGT , the 12 cab FGT, C15A 13 cab , C15 no11cab , F15A 13 cab , 20CWT 180 gallon water tank trailer , 7 1/2 ton light recovery trailer (FORD canada built) C15A wireless (no body) and a MK1UC carrier , and finaly a T16 . And several British and US vehicles.
The Quad by the way has a Fordson V8 in at the moment , but Pierre has got already a Canadian Ford Mercury engine for it , the vehicle is fairly original , all data plates are there , and the interior has never been repainted , tires are still wartime dated . It is not a difficult restauration job .

Ford Quad including Limber and 25pdr

A very unique and beautiful combination.
It's located in The Netherlands.
The Quad is 99% complete.
Engine turns by hand.
The gun is able to fire blanks and is restored, so is the Limber.
I can assist with transportation around the world.
I'm looking myself for a Diamond M20 and a Rogers trailer.
Offers.

I am not sure if Pierre has sold the FGT in the meantime, or if it's just on loan, but I found it on display at the Overloon war museum under a camouflage net, yesterday.
It seems like a very nice truck....pretty complete and it even has part of the rack on the rear. Hopefully it will be restored soon.

Or maybe I should make this message more interesting like some dealers seem to fancy..... "we recently discovered this rare truck"......

As I understand it, it was exchanged for another vehicle.
