Default armoured car

I came across this picture of an armoured car under cover and I'm noy sure what it is. One caption says 30th Recce and another says 31st Recce. Both say it was used for training in Victoria. The markings are M/T 42-1-8698.

It looks like an Otter to me. I think it is also missing its rear fender.

Default On a different tack

The fellow appears to be wearing a 15 Light Horse cap badge. They were mobilized as 31 (Alberta) Reconnaisance Regiment Canadian Armoured Corps and served as part of the 6th Division / Pacific Command.

Are you guys sure that is an Otter, i know the shape is similer but either its the camera angle or he is some giant of a man
Take a look at the photo i have posted of a RAF regt Otter and compare the the heights of the crews, is it possible that it is a training mockup

Les,

He is not standing as close to it as you think. Look at his feet, he is standing next to the tree but the wheels are below that level and further back. The given height of an Otter to top of turret is 8 feet.
