Keith, it did only have the small knuckles on the front diff, the same as F15A. Only guessing the Fords are the same as Chev in this regard ie small knuckles on 15, 30 cwt?????

The 6" steering ends only came into production well after this one was built. If you have a look at any early 1942 build F60L you'll see small steering ends and the lighter steering box. The small steering ends were retained on F15As and possibly F30s.

I'll look up the pictures I have of a late F60 with light steering ends and 16" wheels. IIRC, these "light" 3-tonners chassis were built for Ambulances and other Lindsay House Type bodies.

Default is it true?

I was reading on another site the report of this sale and a few were dissapointed that some items up for sale had already gone, only to be told that they were pinched the night/nights before by some low life. Seems such advertising can have a bad side, I hope this is false, anyone hear of this? more importantly I hope they are caught if so

Yes Cameron the agent made an anouncement at the start of the sale. Hopefully they will be caught but the chance of them being seen is slim.
