Default New shipping info to ontario ....... ! !

Hi everyone .........

Well I have done some shipping quotes to get my CMP to the Toronto for another prospective purchaser and we have come up with a super rate to split the freight on a flatdeck of approx $ 1,500 CDN plus a few hundred on my end to get it safely put on the flatdeck which is very affordable to get it across Canada to anyone down Toronto way , this can take place as early as end of the this month ( April 2010 )

If anyone has been sitting on the fence this might be your oppurtunity if you live in that area or anywhere else in Ontario and need my F15A CMP ........ Id still like $ 3,500 for it and all the parts , axles, wheels etc that go with it.

If anyone needs any info or the list of parts give me a shout.

Thanks , have a good day !

Terry,

I am sure there is. Have you tried posting an ad on MilWeb, military vehicle magazines, kijiji.ca, Ebay.com, etc.?

Good luck finding a new home for it.

Hanno Ive got it in a few places, I dont really care for Ebay , seems why give others $$ to sell your stuff especially bigger ticket items as it just gets passed onto the buyer anyway in increased costs, I have contimplated at the possability of sending it over the pond maybe at one point this will happen as it seems nobody on the west side of this country really wants them which blows me away as to the reason for that, seems the europeans have more of an interest for some reason which is good for you guys over there

Ive even got outstanding freight rates to Ontario of $ 850 to Toronto and still no go so I guess Im at a bit at a loss of words and ideas as to this OD thing, Im sure If I priced it at $ 1,000 it would be gone but so would I as the wife would be looking for a new roomy

Harry any help would be great seems there are enough guys on the coast who would like to give it a home but unfortunatly I cannot be any better Santa Claus in July ......... If someone wants it its time to part with some paper money .

Thanks guys, have a good day.

Hi Stan

If you come this way to look at it give me a shout ahead of time please to make sure Im around , would be more than happy to show it to you.

Jim

I have no idea what it would cost, best thing to do being you live down there is call around to find a shipper that would cross the 49th and come get it all .

border stuff is not a big deal, nothing a broker cant look after, we just sent a carrier to USA from here so Im sure others would chime in and tell you the people to talk to, to get it done.

the total weight would be prolly 10,000 lbs with all the extra parts , If you ned more info or pics shoot me an Email or PM with your Email addy, Ill help how I can.

thanks for your interest guys.

Default Costs....

Other factors that will affect cost of shipping......

Where it is picked up...(brokers' warehouse or Terry's backyard)..How the load is packaged.....roll on roll off as opposed to lift on lift off..... and hwere it is dropped off...again warehouse or backyard.

I had a transport truck deliver used army tire casing to my house.... first he was pissed because he had a hard time finding the place..... I was not home and he cut the cello wrap .....and the tires, once freed off the skids and rolled in the ditch in front of the house..... but was kind enough to roll them in the drive way for my wife...

Are all parts properly set up and secured on a skid or skids.....

Can vehicle be driven on an off...... will Terry have a ramp for easy/safe loading...... forklift for skids....

Are all the heavy parts worth shipping....and in fact needed... can the axles be stripped.... are the rims salvageable...have tires been removed from spare rims.... would hate to pay hundreds of dollars for something that becomes ballast at 0.10 cents a pound once in Arizona....

Has a container been considered...

Keep us posted so we can all learn.

Terry,
Border stuff is no big deal. I had my F8 shipped to the US and did not need a broker. The US Customs people advised that a form 7510 (if I recall correctly) was all that was needed and they have them in stock and will assist the shipper in filling them out.

Jim
