Balhannah I think. I have wondered that for many years that it has been sat there.

As it is adjacent to the Melbourne to Adelaide Main Line I have wondered if it had been used for railway gangers accom.

But where did it come from originally? Sorry, can't help.

It's a British built Radio Body for a QL Bedford or similar. Has been there for a long time. Not far from Woodside Barracks. Lots of guys after it.

Fitted up would look something like this.

Except for the single rear door, this Wireless Lorry looks somewhat similar:

Which was ID'd in this thread as possibly being a Leyland Terrier.

I reckon that wouldn't be a fair swap, either.

(PS Pedr, what a sorry excuse for scenery in SA. Don't you guys have any vegetation?!?!?)

Unhappy No Water!

Nah mate....no water here

First photo is in Corowa...land of 24hr sprinklers

Second one is in Adelaide after all the rest of the Murray water is used in rural NSW to water f$#@king rice and cotton and evaporated in thousands of kilometres of open flood irrigation channels in Western Victoria.

Not really it's in Arkaroola, Outback South Australia 2002.

Pedr,

The Studebaker, it looks like Rick Shearman's one?

This body is post war, British. I reckon it is a MT Repair body ( or other role such as Signals ), but definitely off a Bedford RL.

Default Question Graeme

What are you doing wandering around in my territory without coming and saying G'day?

G'day Richard

Yeah it's Rick's Stude.

I personally don't know of any other super-high hood bowed Stude's or Jimmy's.

And the QL is Tony Luke's. They are usually seen as a pair or the QL is seen with Rick's MJ. The Radio ( Sigs ) body looks far better on the QL, than on an UGLY-AS-SIN RL.
