Default Black Saturday

Hi Everyone

Time is passing but we will not forget what happened that day and it is with pictures and story's such as the one's in this thread that we remember.

On a positive note, we have had a horrible noise in my Stuart engine since Black friday and the rush to remove the tank from the path of the fire. During the first week of our school holidays Adrian and myself worked up enough courage to start the Stuart and try and find the problem, 2 cyclinders were not firing at all.
The first step was replace spark plugs on those pots, we then had one cyclinder not firing, and the noise still there.
We then removed the engine deck and and removed the tappet cover's on that cylinder, the tappet adjusting nut on the inlet valve had worked it's way loose and fallen off, a magnet and a mirror and re adjust the clearance on that valve removed our noise and the Stuart is again running as it should.
