Default Ground clearance

Hi
Can anyone give me data on the ground clearance on the UC, please. I have modified a pair of metal skies for the recovery of my UC but I think I might have made the sides to high.

Thanks! For my own safety I´ll bring some wood to put under the tracks if the ground clearance is not enough.

If the tracks turn free you can probably tow it out easier with out the skis.

Well everything depends on the condition of the ice and if it´s snow on top. Will also try to recover a Studebaker Weasel as well and a Fordson 1934 and a Volvo BM10 from around 1950 from the same spot.

Not that good I´m afraid. The guy with the Hagglund BV206 managed to loose the bottomplug and shot the transmission and now it´s to late in the season. Will have to wait untill next season. Will go back there this summer and take more pictures and even try to save the Studebaker Weasle and some other tractors sitting in the same spot.
Update will follow.
Sincerely
Erik

That's too bad. Well good luck next try. I find that going to get this stuff is the most fun of the hole project.

Good idea to use sleds for the recovery. There is no reason to drag the old vehicle across the tree roots and rocks unnecessarily.

Go slap the BV driver on the forehead for forgetting to do his maintenance properly. He lost your summer.
