Default A treasure indeed

What an interesting find... I notice the original FGT style fuel tank is still there too. What plans does he have for it?

In Australia we generally used F60S vehicles as trailer tractors.

And here's a couple of pics from the spare parts list...

This parts list belongs to a friend and is unfortunately NOT for sale.
Do you have one, Alex?

Default F 60T...

Hi Keith
No I don't have one,..They were so rare that they would have probably have used the F 60 L parts manual to repair the odd one that they had to order parts for in the field...
There can't be that much difference I would think..
It would be nice to have one though..If your chum ever wants to sell it I'm interested..

Nice one!

One that springs to mind is the vacuum trailer brake actuator.

Default Missing part, F60T

One of the missing, wanted part of the F60T is the valve assy. conversion of the trailer brake.
Part number: C29Q - 2394.
The vacuum (tank) reservoir is in a perfect (prima) condition.
The Oud family, Piet (dad) and Jacob (son), are always busy with restoring several CMP projects but the F60T, maybe next year ?

Mvg. Dirk Leegwater

Default C29Q part number

Excuse my ignorance but does the C29Q part number indicate that it was a C30/C60S component?

David,

The same conversion valve, used by CMP Ford and Chevrolet.
Wally Wheatley's cross-list told me:
Ford number (C29Q - 2394), F60T, semi-trailer.
Chev. number (5818671), C60S and C60L, trailer.

Mvg. Dirk

Tonight, I came across these pictures. Would this be another F60T? The fifth wheel on this one does look a little suspicious, but it does have the large fuel tanks with neck way up front.
