Thanks Phil, had not seen this one even though I came across a pic from the same series earlier this year. According to the caption of ID Number: CUN/66/0322/VN this sequence shows South Vietnamese troops travelling in an armoured truck [obviously a C15TA] passing along a road newly secured by troops of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), during Operation Denver. Date: 16 April 1966!! It is the latest date known to me of any C15TA's in service.

Default C15A

Hanno,

Were C15TA's used in Angola in more recent times in the 1970s & 80's ?

I seem to remember seeing details somewhere but can't remember where.

Of course - sorry, I did not link Angola to Portugal.
But the timeframe would be 1961-1974, not 1970s & 80's.

Default right

Hanno, you are right. I overlooked that. The C15TA's may have been phased out during the Portuguese period, Don't know if any were left in Africa after 1975.

Nuyt
