Dodge Ambulance or Carryall
Wanted Dodge Ambulance or Carryall situated in either USA/Canada or UK/Europe. Must be fairly straight and not a huge rebuild job but I can live with bad or missing engine, gearbox etc

Not one of these?
Although it's probably a little too much work and I don't know if it has any military provenance. |

Lang,
Is this for your next trip across half of the globe or similar? A good place to search in Europe is always www.milweb.net, but if you want to search in Holland the best site to search is www.gaf92.nl . Go to http://www.gaf92.nl/generaaltjes/index.php and go to "zoek in advertenties" to search the ads. I could go and check one out for you if you wish? Hanno

Hanno,
Yes it is for Normandy 2014. I have never worked this far ahead in my life but thought I might be able to do some private tripping around next year if I got a vehicle early. Any leads will be followed up with appreciation. Lang |

Hello Lang,
I'm selling my Dodge Ambulance due to lack of time. She's standing still in my garage since september last year. She was a very good runner, perfect to sleep in... Mechanics are in good condition, the coach work is in reasonable condition. If you want, i can sent you some pictures. greetings Kenny |

Got my Carryall today in Idaho but one of the other people booked on the trip has asked me to find an ambulance or carryall for him so the hunt goes on!

Hanno,
It would be worth buying that ambulance to get the white wall tyres. All you then need is a command car to make one of those really flash French parade vehicles. Lang |

A "parade" Dodge would be something different, but what about one of these?
All the room in the back can be filled with jerry cans to keep the truck running with the extra fuel consumption it would take to drive it all the way through Europe Serious; I think finding a suitable WC54 wouldn't be too much of a problem as they are offered quite regularly. Carryall might be a little harder and more expensive. The websites Hanno posted are a good start. Alex

Lang,
A nice Carryall for sale in Holland: http://gaf92.nl/generaaltjes/index.p...ppen@gmail.com p.s......go for the big woofers....you should be able to make a nice mockup in plywood and transport it by Ben Hur trailer behind the Dodge through Europe.

Alex,
Thank you. We look like we are all satisfied now and it seems everyone has what they want. A lot of work going on in Australia and New Zealand getting vehicles ready! I have put our route up on the Events section. Lang Last edited by Lang; 14-09-12 at 01:02. |
