Default What kind of carrier is this?

  • Painted stiff cardboard with a cotton (or fabric) surface layer. Peeling in places to show white. Green paint otherwise
  • Fabric hinge.
  • Two fixed length canvas straps - one is the right length for a handle and the other is a shoulder strap.
  • The closure is pure Canadiana. The tab is rigid glued fabric, and I am reminded of the components on the belt hanger for the wooden Browning HP shoulder stock.
  • There is a metal plate across the front with a simple tab hook. The clearance is maybe 1/2".
