Default Sexton 25Pdr.

I am currently fabricating a muzzle brake for the 25Pdr. as used on the Sexton, but I need thread dimensions for the end of the gun tube. Any suggestions or is there someone out there that happens to have the info I am looking for.

Default I Know a Guy ...

who knows a guy ...

that has not 1, but 2 25pounders - and I just lent him a Carrier part to copy.

If the field piece is the same, and I don't know why it would be different, I am quite sure that he can let you look at it for a few minutes.

Default 25 pounder

I don't have a thread gauge that big but the thread is left handed (gets the new guys every time) with the locking screw at the top.

Perry, your best bet is to get in contact with Sgt. Rob Love Vehtech RCHA in CFB Shilo.

Default Sexton Parts?

Perry,

I am not sure if you have or need this kind of bits for your restoration effort.

Sneak a peek at eBay:
