Default Peruvian Chevs

This one is for David and show some photos I took in Peru plus one Finnish chassis. I lost my photo editing program (corrupted) so am trying to edit off the scanner's program. If it does not work I will try another way. These three are I think, a 37, a 38 and a 39. The ones with bodies are hearses, one in Lima and one in Trujillo circa 1977

Default GMOO

General Motores Overseas Operations set up a Branch Office in Lima in 1938 and then post-war established an assembly operation as General Motors del Peru. However I would imagine that these chassis were imported buil-up from perhaps the Tarrytown, NY Plant and then shipped via the Panama Canal? Thank you for those!!
