Default communications carrier

Not sure if this belongs here or in the equipment section but I will give this a shot.

It looks like I am going to be outfitting my carrier as a communications wagon!
A bunch of WS No 19 gear fell into my lap, more may be on the way, as well as a canadian field telephone. The phone is now in working condition. All it need was a talk battery and a good cleaning

I was amazed at the sound quality of the darned thing! I have it hooked up with JKT to the old wall crank telephone in the kitchen so I can call the wife from the garage or vise versa. The look on peoples faces when the old crank phone in the kitchen rings now is priceless. It is almost enough to make my wife accept my hobby!

2 questions

Would field telephones be carried in a carrier with a W.S. No 19 set?

If so what did the reels and handles for the telephone wire look like? Anyone have a picture?

OK 3 questions... Would the reels be carried inside the carrier or ouside?
