Default Items for Trade...Tons....

Folks... after close to over 30 years of effort, I am getting close to completing the tool and accessory kit for my MKII carrier. The following is a list of goodies I have to trade for my wants. There are some very rare items here from my own stash and are original, complete and as described. PLEASE, the items I search must be: Canadian, good+, original, marked as such where applicable and exchanged as trade only. Or if you dont see anything that you like/need please name your price!! I don’t have pics of any of my trade items at this time BUT can be made available if you have something to offer. PM me details. Go thru your spares and boxs of extras and lets see what we can do......:-)
Thanks for looking !

Default Spark plug suppressors

First, thank you Bruce for your offerings and review of the rare tool kit items.
I do have a few sets of new, original original spark plug suppressors C01UC-105163 (which are also used on the T16 Carrier). They are 90 degree black bakelite suppressors which snap on to the spark plug leads (unlike the stardard WW2 US suppressors which screwed into the spark plug cable).
I do not know how the C01UC-105163-B version differs from the C01UC-105163 version but probably a minor technical detail. Eight are required for the spark leads but I recall that a couple of spare ones may be listed for the tool kit. They are correct for T16 also. It is very hard to see a good illustration of these suppressors in any of the manuals.
$4 per suppressor; first chance to Bruce. Others who are interested can PM me.
...... Brian

Default Tools and Accessories

Gents, to all that have posted and PM'd me a huge thank you for your interest and possible items for trade. PLEASE keep any offers or considerations coming but do note I am entertaining offers to trade only from my spares collection.

Further I wish to explain is that the secondary purpose of this quest is to complile a COLOUR reference manual for other MKII carrier owners who have been searching for years for these items but not really sure what they look like. Before you ask.. this manual is under production BUT HAS NO READY DATE at this time. Many carrier/tool owners have been helpfull up to this point but as you can see Im still short a few items. And the search goes on......

Cheers...
Bruce

Default Cash still burning a hole in my pocket.

Just checking in. No change in your swap only policy? I understand the Canadian dollar is now higher than the U.S. dollar, now would be a good time to get some money in a U.S. dollar account at your bank for when the current situation reverses.

CHEEMO!

Derek.

Derek, Thanks for checking in regarding my wish list. I did recieve a number of offers and trade deals and some of these have been completed and the list is getting smaller.

Regarding your offer of US currency, I as well would want it out of my pocket ASAP. :-)

Please do keep me in mind should you find any of the items on the list.

Cheers,
Bruce

I'm sure the present value of the U.S. dollar brings some measure of satisfaction to many, however, the U.S. dollar will eventually strengthen now that we have a Tea Party driven group of Fiscal Conservatives in the House of Representatives. Our recent mid-term elections were a massive repudiation of Obama's policies and bode well for the elections in Nov. of 2012. Well I remember when New Zealand "hit the borrowing wall", so to speak, as well as when the Federal Government in Canada realized that they had to balance the budget. Things have turned around quite nicely for both those two countries.
If receiving U.S. dollars is the sticking point for you, I can pay in any currency you desire. In the interim, I'll keep in mind what you're looking for.

CHEEMO!

Derek.
