Default T-16 Radio cover

Has anyone a pattern for an original T-16 canvas radio cover. Also can anyone tell me the correct finish for the mahogany timber batons around the edge of the crew compartment. I have been told two coats of shelac.

Best regards

Hi Tobin, welcome to this forum. We met at Beltring two years ago (I'm the tall bald Dutch guy riding an army pushbike).

Anyway, re. the finish of the timber around the edge of the T16 hull. I agree a natural finish looks great, but they should be painted US Olive Drab like the rest of the vehicle.

Cheers,
Hanno

Hi Hanno,

Good to hear from you again and I hope that you are well. Many thanks for that, I need to get the paintbrush out I think!

Default Hello

I Had a long running problem with the engine dying which I solved this summer. Once solved (rotor arm) I would never sell it.I was offered some silly money for it though. It is without doubt the most fun vehicle I have. I have just resprayed her and given her a general birthday
All the best T
