Default Map Case For Sale

Cases, Map 65 No22 MKII. This is the map case that was issued to the MKII Universal Carrier and many other types of CMP vehicles. These cases make a fine addition to the additional stowage of any restoration project. WWII manufacture and issue, marked and dated. Condition is very good plus. Price is $40.00 Canadian funds, plus shipping. I have very limited supply
PM for further details. Thanks Bruce

Default Map case

I purchased an identical map case at Berwick swap meet last weekend. Does anyone know what the spring steel and brass clip arrangement on the rear locks into.

Some veh's had little tabs that the spring steel would "slot" into. That way the map case could be open and be attached to the hull but removed when needed.

Default Map Case Suspension

A picture is worth a thousand words. Have a look at item number 22 and you will see how the hook is used to hang the map case.

These had a "plastic" cover on the inside...to cover the map and mark it without marking the map itself.

After years of looking I have found a material that works..just needs to be cut to the correct size.
